The 2nd Edition of ENDOFEST is celebrated successfully

Last May 6, the 2nd edition of the Endofest, Festival to give visibility to Endometriosis and raise funds for its research, organized by Món Clínic, was successfully held.

The festival was promoted by Anna Bassols, a patient with endometriosis and resident of Premià de Dalt, with the collaboration of the Premià de Dalt Town Council and the Hospital Clínic de Barcelona.

With the presence of 1,700 people, including attendees, backstage and volunteers, a total of €26,130 net was raised which will go towards research into the disease at the Clínic-IDIBAPS.

The more than 1,700 people who attended the festival, organized in collaboration with the Premià de Dalt Town Council, were able to enjoy live music by Ramon Mirabet, Delafé and Flores Azules. Also an area for children, food trucks and stalls with merchandise.

Endometriosis is one of the most common benign gynecological diseases. It affects 10% of women of childbearing age; between 1 and 2 million women in Spain and nearly 176 million worldwide and is one of the main causes of pelvic pain and reproductive problems in women.
